Wish they discussed Yorkie who was just amazing. Hey, help me keep the party alive! That somehow struck my heart. This is an artistic comedy with very serious undertones. The jokes are relatively funny, the kids are adorable, the undercurrent is poignant, the acting and cinematography is quite good and there's just enough chill in the movie to bring about the true nature of WW2. If you're looking for Schindler's List or Saving Private Ryan then you are missing the point of this movie. It's exactly what it was supposed to be.

Jojo Rabbit is a comedy directed by Taika Watiti who I think has managed to find the perfect dose of comedy that a story needs. This isn't a movie that will only make you laugh, it will also make you emotional and keep you entertained. Stunning performance by the little guy who delivers a variety of feeling to the viewer, followed by a great cast which gives its best. A nice different touch to World War II and nazism, that will give you some moments of pure war drama but most of the time will satirize the situation, being a unique addition to this kind of films. There are for sure boring moments and some cringe worthy essence to the general political situtation in the end, but they aren't enough to lower the quality of a pretty good film, not just as a comedy, but as a movie in general. Totaly recommended for everyone.

I really loved this movie. One the the best movies I've seen in my entire life! The end with Captain K and Finkel was really heartbreaking too. I'm a little sad you didn't touch on the subject, but overall I agree with you on the review. This is how it happened, this is how the Hitler died. Wow. What a humanizing and humbling film. It is unfortunate but understable why some reviewers will rate it poorly. I had the privilege of growing up around families affected by the Holocaust but no parent ever told us how bad things were. It was not till we were much older that I learned my friends parents couldnt talk about the Holocaust without sheer rage, horror and sorrow. For those reviewers that believe that the Holocaust and Nazi Germany should be depicted with abject seriousness you are justified but please hear me out. If this film had been released when I was a kid, maybe I would have understood earlier something about those things too horrible for parents to say. It has always been important to tell younger generations about the worst thing we have ever have done as a species, and I believe this film honors that tradition.

Jojo nyuszi 2019 full movie dailymotion full. Outstanding acting, casting, and screenplay. Poignant and laugh out loud funny while still showing the horrors of the Nazis. 100% recommend. Brilliant, funny, sad, warm. Waititi shows that humor can belong anywhere if you do it right. People without a sense of humor will probably hate it, but hey, you can't win over everyone. When he started chasing the butterfly, that hurt.
